- My house. I’m ashamed to say that I was cursing it this past weekend. It’s an older house with a lot of quirks, and I was grumping about the way it never looks perfectly clean no matter what I do. I need to remember that I am fortunate to have a safe, warm, and dry house, and that carpet stains and crooked repairs are just happy evidence of all of the lovable people and pets who live inside.
